A fully supported mixed surface 5 day ride!MUP Information
MUP is a rustic laid-back camping cycling tour with many beautiful landscapes and a route that takes you back in time to less developed towns. With great views of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, you will be sure to get your fill of fresh water views. No tent service is provided and no third bag service is provided for MUP. Bring your sense of adventure and ride along some of the best experiences Michigan has to offer.
Is this event for me?
This is the event for you if you like to explore and be out in nature, all while knowing you’re in good hands and have support if needed. If one week is too long and three days is not enough, this 5 day ride should be just right.
What is included?
Supporting a great organization
Your participation in MUP supports LMB and our mission to improve life through bicycling. Your registration dollars fund the education and advocacy work of LMB and our Better Bicycling Grants and Trailblazing Grants for other organizations and programs in Michigan.
RWGPS App
All routes will be on the RWGPS app and participants will have the full suite active for the duration of the event.
SAG Support
Fully stocked AID stations along the route will be your oasis during the ride. SAG drivers will be on course should you need some help or run into a mechanical and need to get back to camp. You will have a mechanic on site at camp all riding days.
Campsite
In all overnight locations you will have a camping spot waiting for you.
Great meals
Every riding day you can rely on breakfast and dinner being a part of your great amenities on MUP. Campsites will be catered for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is on you.
Adjustments and checks
Your registration includes bike checks and minor adjustments by our awesome friends at Broom Wagon Works! They have discretion over what is an upcharge and what is covered. Rest assured: if you need air in a tire or a quick check to see if you need further work, it is covered.
Always Included
Showers are always available for LMB events.
You will have luggage trucks every riding day to carry your gear from town to town.
Parking at the start or finish is always included in your registration with LMB events.
